Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1076
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not offer any prayer after the 'Asr prayer, except if the sun is clearly visible."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عصر کی نماز کے بعد کوئی نماز نہ پڑھو، ہاں! اگر سورج صاف ستھرا دکھائی دے رہا ہو تو جائز ہے۔“
Sayyidina Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Asr ki namaz ke bad koi namaz na parho, haan! agar suraj saaf suthra dikhayi de raha ho to jaiz hai.”
قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَاه إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ، إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ"، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: فَمَا أَدْرِي بِمَكَّةَ يَعْنِي أَوْ بِغَيْرِهَا؟.
