Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10825
It is narrated in Musnad Ahmad that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When some people gather in a place and then disperse without remembering Allah, it is as if they have dispersed from the carcass of a dead donkey, and that gathering will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Judgment.

گذشۃ سند ہی سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب کچھ لوگ کسی جگہ اکٹھے ہوں اور اللہ کا ذکر کئے بغیر ہی جدا ہوجائیں تو یہ ایسے ہی ہے جیسے مردار گدھے کی لاش سے جدا ہوئے اور وہ مجلس ان کے لئے قیامت کے دن باعث حسرت ہوگی۔
Guzishta sanad hi se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab kuch log kisi jaga ikathe hon aur Allah ka zikar kiye baghair hi juda hojaen to yeh aise hi hai jaise murdaar gadhe ki lash se juda hue aur woh majlis un ke liye qayamat ke din baais hasrat hogi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ , عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا، فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ، إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ مِثْلِ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ , وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسُ حَسْرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" .
