Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11677
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that we went out with the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, on the pilgrimage of Hajj. We continued reciting the Talbiyah of Hajj in a loud voice all the way. But when we performed the Tawaf of the Ka'bah, the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Make it Umrah, except for those who have a sacrificial animal with them." (So we made it Umrah and ended our state of Ihram). Then, when the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah came, we recited the Talbiyah of Hajj and proceeded towards Mina.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ سفر حج پر نکلے، سارے راستے ہم بآواز بلند حج کا تلبیہ پڑھتے رہے، لیکن جب بیت اللہ کا طواف کرلیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے عمرہ بنالو، الاّ یہ کہ کسی کے پاس ہدی کا جانور بھی ہو، (چنانچہ ہم نے اسے عمرہ بنا کر احرام کھول لیا) پھر جب آٹھ ذی الحجہ ہوئی تو ہم نے حج کا تلبیہ پڑھا اور منیٰ کی طرف روانہ ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Abusaid Khudri Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath safar Hajj par nikle, sare raste hum baawaz buland Hajj ka talbiyah parhte rahe, lekin jab Baitullah ka tawaf karliya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise Umrah banalo, illa yeh ki kisi ke pas hadi ka janwar bhi ho, (chunancha humne ise Umrah bana kar ehram khol liya) phir jab aath Zil Hajj hui to humne Hajj ka talbiyah parha aur Mina ki taraf rawana hogaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ نَصْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ صُرَاخًا، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ" , فَلَمَّا كَانَ عَشِيَّةُ التَّرْوِيَةِ، أَهْلَلْنَا بِالْحَجِّ.
