Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11806

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood in the plain of Arafat and supplicated, raising both his hands opposite his chest, below his shoulders, with the back of his palms facing the ground.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ میدانِ عرفات میں کھڑے ہو کر اس طرح دعاء کر رہے تھے کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ اپنے سینے کے سامنے اور کندھوں سے نیچے بلند کر رکھے تھے اور ہتھیلیوں کی پشت زمین کی جانب رکھی تھی۔

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) maidan e arafaat mein kharay ho kar iss tarah dua kar rahay thay keh aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath apne seene ke samne aur kandhon se neeche buland kar rakhe thay aur hatheliyon ki pusht zameen ki jaanib rakhi thi.

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ , يَقُولُ:" وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَةَ، فَجَعَلَ يَدْعُو هَكَذَا، وَجَعَلَ ظَهْرَ كَفَّيْهِ مِمَّا يَلِي وَجْهَهُ، وَرَفَعَهُمَا فَوْقَ ثَنْدُوَتِهِ، وَأَسْفَلَ مِنْ مَنْكِبَيْهِ".
