Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11860
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you hear the call to prayer (adhan), repeat the same words that the mu'adhdhin (caller) is saying.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم اذان سنو تو وہی جملے کہا کرو جو مؤذن کہتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum azan suno to wahi jumle kaha karo jo muazzin kehta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ الْمُؤَذِّنَ"، وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ: الْمُنَادِيَ،" فَقُولُوا مِثْلَمَا يَقُولُ"، زَادَ مَالِكٌ: الْمُؤَذِّنَ.
