Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 13106
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said that the hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was slightly curly, neither very curly nor very straight, and it used to reach between his earlobes and shoulders.

قتادہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی ﷺ کے بالوں کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے بال ہلکے گھنگریالے تھے، نہ بہت زیادہ گھنگریالے اور نہ بہت زیادہ سیدھے اور وہ کانوں اور کندھوں کے درمیان تک ہوتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : كَيْفَ كَانَ شَعَرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ شَعَرًا رَجِلًا، لَيْسَ بِالسَّبْطِ وَلَا بِالْجَعْدِ، بَيْنَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَعَاتِقَيْهِ".
