Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14265
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to benefit from the practice of seven people jointly sacrificing a cow.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں اس بات سے فائدہ اٹھاتے تھے کہ مشترکہ طور پر سات آدمی ایک گائے کی قربانی دے دیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ، نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا.
