Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14332
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the construction of the Ka'bah began, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) started carrying stones. Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O nephew! Take off your lower garment and put it on your shoulder so that your shoulder does not get hurt by the stones." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to do so, he fainted and fell down. From that day onwards, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was never seen without clothes on his body.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب خانہ کعبہ کی تعمیر شروع ہوئی تو نبی ﷺ اور سیدنا عباس رضی اللہ عنہ پتھر اٹھا اٹھا کر لانے لگے سیدنا عباس رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے، اے بھتیجے! اپنا تہبند اتار کر کندھے پر رکھ لیں تاکہ پتھر سے کندھے زخمی نہ ہو جائیں تو نبی ﷺ نے ایسا کرنا چاہا تو بےہو ش کر گر پڑے اور اس دن کے بعد نبی ﷺ کو کبھی کپڑوں سے خالی جسم نہیں دیکھا گیا۔
Syedna Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke jab Khana Kaaba ki tameer shuru hoi to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam aur Syedna Abbas Radi Allaho Anho pathar utha utha kar lane lage Syedna Abbas Radi Allaho Anho kehne lage, Aye bhateeje! Apna tahband utar kar kandhe par rakh len take pathar se kandhe zakhmi na ho jayen to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne aisa karna chaha to behosh ho kar gir pade aur is din ke bad Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko kabhi kapdon se khali jism nahi dekha gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَار ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمْ حِجَارَةَ الْكَعْبَةِ، وَعَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، لَوْ حَلَلْتَ إِزَارَكَ فَجَعَلْتَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْكَ دُونَ الْحِجَارَةِ، قَالَ: فَحَلَّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ، فَسَقَطَ مَغْشِيًّا، عَلَيْهِ فَمَا رُئِيَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عُرْيَانًا.
