Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14758
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to fast on the day of Ashura.
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں یوم عاشورہ کا روزہ رکھنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen Yom Ashura ka roza rakhne ka hukum diya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ أَنْ نَصُومَهُ".
