Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1480
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You will be rewarded for whatever you spend on your family, even for the morsel of food that you put in the mouth of your wife, you will be rewarded for it."

سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم اپنے اہل خانہ پر جو کچھ بھی خرچ کرو گے، تمہیں اس پر ثواب ملے گا، حتی کہ وہ لقمہ جو تم اپنی بیوی کے منہ میں ڈالو گے، تمہیں اس پر بھی ثواب ملے گا۔“
Sayyidna Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tum apne ahl khana par jo kuchh bhi kharch karoge, tumhen is par sawab milega, hatta ki woh luqma jo tum apni biwi ke munh mein daloge, tumhen is par bhi sawab milega.“.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ لَهُ:" إِنَّكَ مَهْمَا أَنْفَقْتَ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ مِنْ نَفَقَةٍ، فَإِنَّكَ تُؤْجَرُ فِيهَا، حَتَّى اللُّقْمَةَ تَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى فِي امْرَأَتِكَ".
