Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15022
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slaughtered two rams on the day of Eid al-Adha. When he made them face the Qibla, he said: "I have turned my face towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, with pure faith and a complete submission, and I am not one of the polytheists. My prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds, who has no partner. This is what I have been commanded, and I am the first among the Muslims." (He then said) "In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest. O Allah, this is from You and for You. Accept it from Muhammad and from his Ummah."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بقر عید کے دن دو مینڈھے ذبح کئے جب انہیں قبلہ رخ کرنے لگے تو فرمایا: میں نے اپنا چہرہ اس ذات کی طرف متوجہ کر دیا جس نے آسمان و زمین کو پیدا کیا سب سے کٹ کر اور مسلمانوں ہو کر میں مشرکین میں سے نہیں ہوں میری نماز قربانی زندگی اور موت سب اللہ رب العالمین کے لئے جس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور مجھے اسی کا حکم دیا گیا ہے اور میں سب سے پہلا مسلمان، بسم اللہ، اللہ اکبر اے اللہ یہ تیری جانب سے ہے اور تیرے لئے اسے محمد اور ان کی امت کی طرف سے قبول فرما۔
Saina Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Baqr Eid ke din do mendhe zibah kiye jab unhen qibla rukh karne lage to farmaya: mein ne apna chehra us zaat ki taraf mutawajja kar diya jis ne aasman o zameen ko paida kiya sab se kat kar aur musalmanon ho kar mein mushrikeen mein se nahi hun meri namaz qurbani zindagi aur maut sab Allah Rabbul Alamin ke liye jis ka koi sharik nahi aur mujhe isi ka hukum diya gaya hai aur mein sab se pehla musalman, Bismillah, Allahu Akbar aye Allah ye teri janib se hai aur tere liye ise Muhammad aur un ki ummat ki taraf se qubool farma.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَبَحَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ كَبْشَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ حِينَ وَجَّهَهُمَا:" إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ , لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ , وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ , بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأُمَّتِهِ".
