Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15110
Narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I had a dream that my head was chopped off and it was rolling ahead of me, and I was following it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is from Satan. When any one of you sees a disliked dream, he should not relate it to anyone and seek refuge in Allah from the evil of Satan."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا مجھے خواب میں ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ گویا میری گردن ماردی گئی ہو وہ لڑھکتے ہوئے آگے آگے ہے اور میں اس کے پیچھے پیچھے ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ یہ شیطان کی طرف سے ہے جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص ناپسندیدہ خواب دیکھے تو وہ کسی کے سامنے اسے بیان نہ کر ے اور شیطان کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaya aur kahne laga mujhe khwab mein aisa mehsoos hua ke goya meri gardan maar di gayi ho woh larkhte hue aage aage hai aur mein uske peeche peeche hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki ye shaitan ki taraf se hai jab tum mein se koi shakhs napasandeedah khwab dekhe to woh kisi ke samne use bayan na kare aur shaitan ke shar se Allah ki panaah maange.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , يَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنَّ رَأْسِي قُطِعَ , فَهُوَ يَتَجَحْدَلُ وَأَنَا أَتْبَعُهُ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" ذَاكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ , فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ رُؤْيَا يَكْرَهُهَا فَلَا يَقُصَّهَا عَلَى أَحَدٍ , وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ".
