Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15188

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that we used to receive waterskins and utensils along with the spoils of war with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We used to distribute them among ourselves, and they were all from the possessions of the deceased (enemy combatants).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہمیں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مشکیزے کے مال غنیمت میں سے مشکیزے اور برتن بھی ملتے تھے ہم اسے تقسیم کر دیتے تھے اور یہ سب مردار ہوتے تھے۔

Sayyidna Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki hamen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath mashkize ke mal ghanimat mein se mashkize aur bartan bhi milte the hum ise taqseem kar dete the aur ye sab murdar hote the.

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ رَاشِدٍ , عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ:" كُنَّا نُصِيبُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَغَانِمِنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ , الْأَسْقِيَةَ وَالْأَوْعِيَةَ , فَيَقْسِمُهَا , وَكُلُّهَا مَيْتَةٌ".
