Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1520
Narrated by Sayyiduna Sa`d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The biggest sin among the Muslims is that of the person who asked about something and tried to find out about disliked matters, until as a result of his question, the ruling of its prohibition was revealed."

سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”مسلمانوں میں سب سے بڑا جرم اس شخص کا ہے جس نے کسی چیز کے متعلق سوال کیا اور ناگوار گذرنے والے امور کو معلوم کرنے کی کوشش کی، یہاں تک کہ اس کے سوال کے نتیجے میں اس چیز کی حرمت کا حکم نازل ہو گیا۔“
Sayyidna Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Musalmanon mein sab se bada jurm is shakhs ka hai jisne kisi cheez ke mutalliq sawal kiya aur nagawar guzarne wale umoor ko maloom karne ki koshish ki, yahan tak ki uske sawal ke natije mein us cheez ki hurmat ka hukm nazil ho gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ جُرْمًا: رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَنَقَّرَ عَنْهُ، حَتَّى أُنْزِلَ فِي ذَلِكَ الشَّيْءِ تَحْرِيمٌ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَسْأَلَتِهِ".
