Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16187
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razeen that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Our Lord laughs when He sees His servants despairing and then turning to others for help. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Does Allah also laugh? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes. I said: Then we will never be deprived of good by a Lord who laughs.

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہمارا پروردگار اپنے بندوں کی مایوسی اور دوسرے کے قریب جاتے ہوئے انہیں دیکھ کر ہنستا ہے میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا اللہ بھی ہنستا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں میں نے عرض کیا: پھر ہم ہنسنے والے رب سے خیر سے محروم نہیں رہیں گے۔
Syedna Aborzin se marvi hai keh nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: hamara parvardigaar apne bandon ki mayosi aur dusre ke qareeb jate huye unhen dekh kar hansta hai. Maine arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! kya Allah bhi hansta hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Haan. Maine arz kiya: phir hum hansne wale rabb se khair se mehroom nahi rahenge.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عَبْدِهِ، وَقُرْبِ غَيْرِهِ"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَوَيَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟، قَالَ:" نَعَمْ"، قَالَ: لَنْ نَعْدَمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا.
