Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16304
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abdullah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding perpetual fasting: "Such a person neither fasts nor breaks the fast."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا عبداللہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے صوم دہر ہمیشہ روزہ رکھنے کے متعلق ارشاد فرمایا: ایسا شخص نہ روزہ رکھتا ہے اور نہ افطار کرتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Abdullah se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne saum dahar hamesha roza rakhne ke mutalliq irshad farmaya: Aisa shakhs na roza rakhta hai aur na iftar karta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ . وَبَهْزٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ، قَالَ:" مَا صَامَ وَمَا أَفْطَرَ، أَوْ لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ" وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ:" لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ".
