Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16337
It is narrated on the authority of Umar bin Abi Salama that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand and eat from what is in front of you." It is narrated on the authority of Umar bin Abi Salama that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Come close, dear son, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand and eat from what is in front of you."

حضرت عمر بن ابی سلمہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ اللہ کا نام لو دائیں ہاتھ سے کھاؤ اور اپنے سامنے سے کھاؤ۔ حضرت عمر بن ابی سلمہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھ سے فرمایا پیارے بیٹے قریب آجاؤ اللہ کا نام لو دائیں ہاتھ سے کھاؤ اور اپنے سامنے سے کھاؤ۔

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمُقْعَدِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: قُرِّبَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامٌ، فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: " اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ، وَلْيَأْكُلْ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِمَّا يَلِيهِ" . قال عبد الله بن أحمد: قال أبي: إِذَا قَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَذَكَرَ، لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ، يَدُلُّ عَلَى صِدْقِهِ
