Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1639
Narrated by Sayyiduna Sa'id ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever unjustly usurps even a hand span of land, on the Day of Resurrection, that portion of land will be made into a collar from the seven earths and put around his neck." It is also narrated from another chain with the addition: "And whoever is killed protecting his wealth, then he is a martyr."

سیدنا سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص ایک بالشت بھر زمین پر ناجائز قبضہ کرتا ہے، قیامت کے دن زمین کا وہ حصہ ساتوں زمینوں سے اس کے گلے میں طوق بنا کر ڈال دیا جائے گا۔“ دوسری سند سے اس میں یہ اضافہ بھی مروی ہے کہ ”جو شخص اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتا ہوا مارا جائے، وہ شہید ہے۔“
Sayyiduna Saeed bin Zaid raza Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs ek balisht bhar zameen par najayaz qabza karta hai, qayamat ke din zameen ka woh hissa saaton zameenon se uske gale mein tauq bana kar daal diya jayega.“ Dusri sanad se is mein ye izafa bhi marvi hai ki ”Jo shakhs apne maal ki hifazat karta hua mara jaye, woh shaheed hai.“
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ:" مَنْ سَرَقَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ شِبْرًا طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ"، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَبَلَغَنِي عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْهُ، زَادَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ" وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ".
