Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 17287
Imam Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "I asked Salim bin Abdullah about the issue of renting out land, and he said: 'I heard Rafia bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) saying to Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard this hadith from his two paternal uncles, who were among the polytheists at Badr, while they were narrating it to their family, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade renting out land.'"

امام زہری رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے سالم بن عبداللہ سے زمین کو کرائے پر لینے دینے کا مسئلہ پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ حضرت رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو بتایا ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنے دو چچاؤں سے جو شرکاء بدر میں سے تھے اپنے اہل خانہ کو یہ حدیث سناتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے زمین کو کرایہ پر لینے دینے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Imaam Zahri rehmatullah alaih farmate hain keh maine Salem bin Abdullah se zameen ko kiraye par lene dene ka masla poocha to unhon ne farmaya keh Hazrat Rafi bin Khadeej razi Allah tala anhu ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah tala anhu ko bataya hai keh unhon ne apne do chachaon se jo shirka Badr mein se the apne ahl khana ko yeh hadees sunate huye suna hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne zameen ko kiraye par lene dene se mana farmaya hai
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ، فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عِنْدَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عَمَّيْهِ وَكَانَا قَدْ شَهِدَا بَدْرًا أَخْبَرَاهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ .
