The Hadith of al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1776
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he and Sayyidina Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon and said, "Now the battle has begun." And he said, "Make this proclamation: O people of Surah Al-Baqarah!"

سیدنا عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ وہ اور سیدناابوسفیان رضی اللہ عنہ نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے، نبی ﷺ نے خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا، اور فرمایا کہ ”اب گھمسان کا رن پڑا ہے۔“ اور فرمایا: ”یہ آواز لگاؤ: یا اصحاب سورۃ البقرۃ۔“
Seyedna Abbas Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki woh aur Syedna Abusufyan Raziallahu Anhu Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah thay, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khutba irshad farmaya, aur farmaya ki "ab ghumsan ka ran para hai." aur farmaya: "yeh awaz lagao: ya ashaab surat al baqarah"
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَلَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ عَبَّاسٌ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ مَعَهُ، يعني النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَخَطَبَهُمْ، وَقَالَ:" الْآنَ حَمِيَ الْوَطِيسُ" وَقَالَ:" نَادِ يَا أَصْحَابَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ".
