Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1817
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in one of our villages. At that time, we had a female dog and a female donkey. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Asr prayer, they (the dog and the donkey) stayed in front of him, and there was nothing between him and them.

سیدنا فضل بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمارے کسی دیہات میں سیدنا عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات فرمائی، اس وقت ہمارے پاس ایک مؤنث کتا اور ایک مؤنث گدھا تھا، نبی ﷺ نے عصر کی نماز پڑھی تو وہ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے ہی رہے اور ان کے اور نبی ﷺ کے درمیان کوئی چیز حائل نہ تھی۔
Sayyidna Fazl bin Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humare kisi dehaat mein Sayyidna Abbas Radi Allaho Anhu se mulaqat farmai, us waqt humare pass ek monis kutta aur ek monis gadha tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Asr ki namaz parhi to woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne hi rahe aur unke aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke darmiyan koi cheez hail nahi thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: زَارَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبَّاسًا وَنَحْنُ فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا،" فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي، قَالَ: أُرَاهُ قَالَ: الْعَصْرَ، وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ كُلَيْبَةٌ لَنَا وَحِمَارٌ يَرْعَى، لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمَا شَيْءٌ يَحُولُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمَا.
