Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18309
It is narrated on the authority of Salman bin Sard (may Allah be pleased with him) that after the Battle of the Trench, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Now we will take the initiative and fight them, and they will never be able to take the initiative against us."

حضرت سلیمان بن صرد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے غزوہ خندق کے دن (واپسی پر) ارشاد فرمایا اب ہم ان پر پیش قدمی کرکے جہاد کریں گے اور یہ ہمارے خلاف اب کبھی پیش قدمی نہیں کرسکیں گے۔
Hazrat Sulaiman bin Sard RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne Ghazwa Khandaq ke din (wapsi per) irshad farmaya ab hum un per pesh qadmi karke jihad karenge aur ye humare khilaf ab kabhi pesh qadmi nahi karsakenge.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ ، قَالَ: انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ، قَالَ: " الْآنَ نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا" .
