ومن مسند بني هاشم The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1842
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Hearsay is not like eyewitness testimony."
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”سنی سنائی خبر عینی مشاہدہ کی طرح نہیں ہوتی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Suni sunai khabar aini mushahida ki tarah nahi hoti.”
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَيْسَ الْخَبَرُ كَالْمُعَايَنَةِ".
