ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1845
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the children of the polytheists, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah knows best what they will do when they grow up."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ سے مشرکین کی اولاد کے بارے پوچھا گیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے کہ وہ بڑے ہو کر کیا عمل کرتے؟“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se mushrikeen ki aulad ke bare pucha gaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Allah behtar janta hai keh woh bade ho kar kya amal karte?“.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، فَقَالَ:" اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ".
