ومن مسند بني هاشم The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1863
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade using any living creature as a target.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی ذی روح چیز کو باندھ کر اس پر نشانہ صحیح کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi zi roh cheez ko baandh kar us par nishana sahi karne se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنْ يُتَّخَذَ ذُو الرُّوحِ غَرَضًا".
