Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18650
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), "Refute (the poetry of) the polytheists in verse, for Gabriel is with you (i.e., to assist you)."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت حسان بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کہ مشرکین کی ہجو بیان کرو جبرائیل تمہارے ساتھ ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Hassan bin Sabit raziallahu anhu se farmaya keh mushrikeen ki hijv bayan karo, Jibra'il tumhare sath hain.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِحَسَّانَ: " هَاجِهِمْ أَوْ اهْجُهُمْ فَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ مَعَكَ" .
