ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1872
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A bad example is not befitting for us. The example of one who takes back his gift is that of a dog that vomits, then goes back to eat its vomit.”

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بری مثال ہمارے لئے نہیں ہے، جو شخص ہدیہ دینے کے بعد واپس مانگتا ہے اس کی مثال اس کتے کی سی ہے جو قے کر کے اسے دوبارہ چاٹ لے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Buri misal hamare liye nahi hai, jo shakhs hadiya dene ke bad wapas mangta hai us ki misal us kutte ki si hai jo qay kar ke use dobara chaat le."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" لَيْسَ لَنَا مَثَلُ السُّوءِ الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ، كَالْكَلْبِ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ".
