ومن مسند بني هاشم The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1901
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not punish anyone with the punishment of Allah (by burning with fire).”
Grade: Sahih
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”کسی کو اللہ کے عذاب جیسا عذاب نہ دو۔“ (آگ میں جلا کر سزا نہ دو)۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Kisi ko Allah ke azab jaisa azab na do. (Aag mein jala kar saza na do).“
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَا تُعَذِّبُوا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ".
