The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1943
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping (Hijama) done between Makkah and Madinah while he was in the state of Ihram and observing a fast.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مکہ مکرمہ اور مدینہ منورہ کے درمیان سینگی لگوا کر خون نکلوایا، اس وقت آپ ﷺ حالت احرام میں بھی تھے اور روزے سے بھی تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ، وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ".
