The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1952
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), once in the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the daughter of Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) was mentioned. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "She is not permissible for me because she is my foster niece." (The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Amir Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) were both foster brothers and paternal uncle and nephew).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ بارگاہ رسالت مآب ﷺ میں سیدنا حمزہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیٹی کا ذکر کیا گیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”وہ تو میرے لئے حلال نہیں ہے کیونکہ وہ میری رضاعی بھتیجی ہے۔“ (دراصل نبی ﷺ اور سیدنا امیر حمزہ رضی اللہ عنہ آپس میں رضاعی بھائی بھی تھے اور چچا بھتیجے بھی)۔
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma farmate hain keh aik martaba bargahe risalat maab (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mein saidina Hamza raziallahu anhu ki beti ka zikar kya gaya to nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Woh to mere liye halal nahi hai kyunki woh meri razai bhateeji hai." (Darasal nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur saidina ameer Hamza raziallahu anhu aapas mein razai bhai bhi thay aur chacha bhateeje bhi).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: ذُكِرَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنَةُ حَمْزَةَ، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ".
