Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19597
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was in the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and some people of my tribe were with me. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Receive good news and convey it to those who are left behind you, that whoever testifies with a sincere heart that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise." We left the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and began to convey this good news to the people. Suddenly, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came in front of us. He took us to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! In this way, people will rely on this one thing and sit idle." Upon this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained silent.

حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا میرے ساتھ میری قوم کے کچھ لوگ بھی تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا خوشخبری قبول کرو اور اپنے پیچھے رہ جانے والوں کو سنا دو کہ جو شخص صدق دل کے ساتھ لا الہ الا اللہ کی گواہی دیتا ہو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگا ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کے یہاں سے نکل کر لوگوں کو یہ خوشخبری سنانے لگے اچانک سامنے سے حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آگئے وہ ہمیں لے کر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اس طرح تو لوگ اسی بات پر بھروسہ کرکے بیٹھ جائیں گے اس پر نبی کریم ﷺ خاموش ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Abu Musa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua mere sath meri qaum ke kuch log bhi thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya khushkhabri kabool karo aur apne peeche reh jane walon ko suna do ki jo shakhs sadiq dil ke sath la ilaha illallah ki gawahi deta ho woh jannat mein dakhil hoga hum Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke yahan se nikal kar logon ko yeh khushkhabri sunane lage achanak samne se Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aa gaye woh hamein lekar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye aur arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is tarah to log isi baat par bharosa karke baith jayenge is par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khamosh ho gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي نَفَرٌ مِنْ قَوْمِي، فَقَالَ: " أَبْشِرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا مَنْ وَرَاءَكُمْ، أَنَّهُ مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ صَادِقًا بِهَا، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ"، فَخَرَجْنَا مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نُبَشِّرُ النَّاسَ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَرَجَعَ بِنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِذًَا يَتَّكِلَ النَّاسُ؟ قَالَ: فَسَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
