Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19599
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that once we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a journey of Jihad. Whenever we ascended a hill or a high place, or descended into a valley, we would say Takbir in a loud voice. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came near us and said, "O people! Be gentle with yourselves, you are not calling upon a deaf or absent God, you are calling upon the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, Who is nearer to you than the neck of your riding animal." O Abdullah bin Qais, shall I not tell you about a treasure of Paradise?" I said, "Why not?" He said, "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no might nor power except with Allah)."

حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوک نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی جہاد کے سفر میں تھے جس ٹیلے یا بلند جگہ پر چڑھتے یا کسی نشیب میں اترتے تو بلند آواز سے تکبیر کہتے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ہمارے قریب آکر فرمایا لوگو! اپنے ساتھ نرمی کرو، تم کسی بہرے یا غائب اللہ کو نہیں پکار رہے، تم سمیع وبصیر کو پکار رہے ہو جو تمہاری سواری کی گردن سے بھی زیادہ تمہارے قریب ہے، اے عبداللہ بن قیس کیا میں تمہیں جنت کے ایک خزانے کے متعلق نہ بتاؤں؟ میں نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں فرمایا لاحول ولاقوۃ الاباللہ (جنت کا ایک خزانہ ہے)
Hazrat Abu Musa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi jihad ke safar mein the jis teile ya buland jagah par chadhte ya kisi nasheb mein utarte to buland aawaz se takbeer kahte. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamare kareeb aakar farmaya, "Logo! Apne sath narmi karo, tum kisi bahire ya ghaib Allah ko nahin pukar rahe, tum Samee o Baseer ko pukar rahe ho jo tumhari sawari ki gardan se bhi zyada tumhare kareeb hai." Aye Abdullah bin Qais kya main tumhen jannat ke ek khazane ke mutalliq na bataun? Maine arz kiya kyun nahin. Farmaya, "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (jannat ka ek khazana hai).
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَن أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَجَعَلْنَا لَا نَصْعَدُ شَرَفًا، وَلَا نَعْلُو شَرَفًا، وَلَا نَهْبِطُ فِي وَادٍ، إِلَّا رَفَعْنَا أَصْوَاتَنَا بِالتَّكْبِيرِ، قَالَ: فَدَنَا مِنَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، ارْبَعُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، فَإِنَّكُمْ مَا تَدْعُونَ أَصَمَّ وَلَا غَائِبًا، إِنَّمَا تَدْعُونَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا، إِنَّ الَّذِي تَدْعُونَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ عُنُقِ رَاحِلَتِهِ، يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَةً مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ؟ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ" .
