Hadith of Abu Barzah al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19771
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Burzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a man to a tribe of the Arabs. They beat him, abused him and spoke ill of him. He returned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and complained to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you had gone to the people of Oman, they would neither have beaten you nor abused you."

حضرت ابوبرزہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو عرب کے کسی قبیلے میں بھیجا، ان لوگوں نے اسے مارا پیٹا اور برا بھلا کہا، وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں واپس حاضر ہوا اور اس کی شکایت کی، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر تم اہل عمان کے پاس گئے ہوتے تو وہ تمہیں مارتے پیٹتے اور نہ برا بھلا کہتے۔
Hazrat Abu Burza Aslami RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne ek aadmi ko Arab ke kisi qabile mein bheja, in logon ne use mara peeta aur bura bhala kaha, woh Nabi SAW ki khidmat mein wapas hazir hua aur uski shikayat ki, Nabi SAW ne farmaya agar tum ahle Oman ke pass gaye hote to woh tumhen marte peette aur na bura bhala kahte.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ أَبُو الْوَازِعِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ ، يَقُولُ: بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا إِلَى حَيٍّ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ، فضَرَبُوهُ، وَسَبُّوهُ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَشَكَا ذَلِكَ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَوْ أَهْلَ عُمَانَ أَتَيْتَ، مَا ضَرَبُوكَ وَلَا سَبُّوكَ" .
