Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19864
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from treating (burns) with branding, but we continued to do so and never succeeded.

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں داغنے کا علاج کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، لیکن ہم داغتے رہے اور کبھی کامیاب نہ ہو سکے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humain daaghne ka ilaaj karne se mana farmaya hai, lekin hum daaghte rahe aur kabhi kaamyaab na ho sake.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَن يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْكَيِّ، فَاكْتَوَيْنَا، فَمَا أَفْلَحْنَا وَلَا أَنْجَحْنَا" .
