Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19883
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain that a Muslim woman was taken captive by the enemy. Prior to this, these people had also stolen the she-camel of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One day, the woman saw the people were unaware, so she secretly mounted the Prophet's she-camel and made a vow that if she reached Madinah safely, she would sacrifice the same she-camel. Anyway, she reached Madinah and wanted to sacrifice the Prophet's she-camel, but the people stopped her from doing so and mentioned it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have given her a bad reward." Then he said, "A son of Adam cannot make a vow for something that he does not own, nor is a vow valid in disobedience to Allah."

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مسلمان عورت کو دشمن نے قید کرلیا، قبل ازیں ان لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ کی اونٹنی بھی چرا لی تھی، ایک دن اس عورت نے لوگوں کو غافل دیکھا تو چپکے سے نبی ﷺ کی اونٹنی پر سوار ہوئی اور یہ منت مان لی کہ اگر صحیح سلامت مدینہ پہنچ گئی تو اسی اونٹنی کو ذبح کر دے گی، بہرحال! وہ مدینہ منورہ پہنچ گئی اور نبی ﷺ کی اونٹنی کو ذبح کرنا چاہا لیکن لوگوں نے اسے اس سے منع کیا اور نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکرہ کردیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم نے اسے برا بدلہ دیا، پھر فرمایا ابن آدم جس چیز کا مالک نہ ہو، اس میں نذر نہیں ہوتی اور نہ ہی اللہ کی معصیت میں منت ہوتی ہے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki aik musalman aurat ko dushman ne qaid kar liya, qabal azeen in logon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki untni bhi chura li thi, aik din is aurat ne logon ko ghafil dekha to chupke se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki untni par sawar hui aur yeh mannat maan li ki agar sahih salamat Madina pahunch gayi to isi untni ko zibah kar degi, ba har hal! woh Madina munawara pahunch gayi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki untni ko zibah karna chaha lekin logon ne use is se mana kiya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iska tazkira kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum ne use bura badla diya, phir farmaya ibn e Adam jis cheez ka malik nah ho, us mein nazar nahin hoti aur na hi Allah ki masiyat mein mannat hoti hai.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: كَانَتْ امْرَأَةٌ أَسَرَهَا الْعَدُوُّ، وَكَانُوا يُرِيحُونَ إِبِلَهُمْ عِشَاءً، فَأَتَتْ الْإِبِلَ تُرِيدُ مِنْهَا بَعِيرًا تَرْكَبُهُ، فَكُلَّمَا دَنَتْ مِنْ بَعِيرٍ رَغَا، فَتَرَكَتْهُ حَتَّى أَتَتْ نَاقَةً مِنْهَا، فَلَمْ تَرْغُ فَرَكِبَتْ عَلَيْهَا، ثُمَّ نَجَتْ فَقَدِمَتْ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَلَمَّا رَآهَا النَّاسُ , قَالُوا: نَاقَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَضْبَاءُ، قَالَتْ: إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَهَا إِنْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْجَانِي عَلَيْهَا , قَالَ: " بِئْسَمَا جَزَيْتِيهَا، لَا نَذْرَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ، وَلَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّه" .
