Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19892
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “So and so never breaks his fast during the day.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, “He has broken his fast, and he has not fasted.”

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کسی شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا کہ فلاں آدمی تو ہمیشہ دن کو روزے کا ناغہ کرتا ہی نہیں ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس نے ناغہ کیا اور نہ روزہ رکھا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki kisi shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya ki falan aadmi to hamesha din ko rozey ka nagha karta hi nahi hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya usne nagha kiya aur na roza rakha.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا! قَالَ: " لَا أَفْطَرَ وَلَا صَامَ" .
