Musnad of the Basrans
١٢-
مسند البصريين From the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20110
It is narrated on the authority of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The deceased is punished because of the wailing done over them.
Grade: Sahih
حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میت کو اس پر ہونے والے نوحے کی وجہ سے عذاب ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Samra ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mayyat ko is par hone wale noyhe ki wajah se azab hota hai
وَعن سمرة، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ" .
