Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20115

It is narrated on the authority of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that a man should send his own marriage proposal over the marriage proposal of his brother, or that he should make his own sale over the sale of his brother.

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ کوئی شخص اپنے بھائی کے پیغام نکاح پر اپنا پیغام بھیجے یا اس کی بیع پر اپنی بیع کرے۔

Hazrat Samra (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is baat se mana farmaya hai ki koi shakhs apne bhai ke paigham nikah par apna paigham bheje ya us ki bay par apni bay kare.

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَخْطُبَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، أَوْ يَبْتَاعَ عَلَى بَيْعِهِ" .
