Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20119
It is narrated on the authority of Samra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade meeting traders coming from outside the city before they reached the marketplace, or that a city dweller should sell the goods of a villager.

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے باہر سے آنے والے تاجروں کے ساتھ ان کے منڈی پہنچنے سے پہلے ملاقات کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، یا یہ کو کوئی شہری کسی دیہاتی کا سامان تجارت فروخت کرے۔
Hazrat Samra Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne bahar se aane wale tajiron ke sath un ke mandi pohanchne se pehle mulaqat karne se mana farmaya hai, ya ye ke koi shehri kisi dehati ka saman tijarat farokht kare.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ , أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ تُتَلَقَّى الْأَجْلَابُ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ الْأَسْوَاقَ، أَوْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ" .
