From the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)

وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20130

And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever plants a garden on a piece of land, it becomes his property.


Grade: Hasan

اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص کسی زمین پر باغ لگائے تو وہ اسی کی ملکیت میں ہے۔

aur nabi salla allahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya jo shakhs kisi zameen par bagh lagaye to woh usi ki malkiat mein hai.

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أَحَاطَ حَائِطًا عَلَى أَرْضٍ، فَهِيَ لَهُ" .
