مسند البصريين From the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20131
And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The hand which takes something (from another) remains liable for it until it pays it back (to its owner).”
Grade: Hasan
اور نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ایک ہاتھ (دوسرے سے) جو چیز لیتا ہے، وہ اس کے ذمے رہتی ہے یہاں تک کہ (دینے والے کو) واپس ادا کر دے۔

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَلَى الْيَدِ مَا أَخَذَتْ حَتَّى تُؤَدِّيَ" .
