Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20177
It is narrated on the authority of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever performs Wudu on Friday, it is sufficient for him, and whoever takes a bath, then it is more preferable.”

حضرت سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے جو شخص جمعہ کے دن وضو کرلے تو وہ بھی صحیح ہے اور جو شخص غسل کرلے تو یہ زیادہ افضل ہے۔
Hazrat Samra ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai jo shakhs juma ke din wuzu karle to wo bhi sahi hai aur jo shakhs ghusl karle to ye zyada afzal hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ، وَمَنْ اغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ" .
