Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20305
It is narrated on the authority of Ma'qal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to judge among my people. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I do not know how to judge well." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah is with the judge as long as he does not intentionally do injustice."

حضرت معقل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے حکم دیا میں اپنی قوم میں فیصلے کیا کروں میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ میں اچھی طرح فیصلہ نہیں کرنا جانتا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا قاضی کے ساتھ اللہ ہوتا ہے جب تک وہ جان بوجھ کر ظلم نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Maaqal se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe hukum diya mein apni qaum mein faisle kiya karoon mein ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah mein achhi tarah faisla nahi karna janta Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qazi ke sath Allah hota hai jab tak wo jaan boojh kar zulm na kare.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ نُفَيْعِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ مَعْقِلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، قَالَ: أَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ بَيْنَ قَوْمٍ، فَقُلْتُ: مَا أَحْسَنَ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , قَالَ: " اللَّهُ مَعَ الْقَاضِي مَا لَمْ يَحِفْ عَمْدًا" .
