Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20320
It is narrated on the authority of Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to fast on the days of Ayyam al-Beed, that is, the 13th, 14th and 15th of the lunar month, which are equal in reward to fasting the entire month.

حضرت قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں ایام بیض یعنی چاند کی تیرہ چودہ اور پندرہ تاریخ کے روزے جو کہ ثواب میں پورے مہینے کے برابر ہیں رکھنے کا حکم دیا ہے
Hazrat Qatada (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen ayyam e baiz yani chand ki terah chaudah aur pandrah tareekh ke roze jo ke sawab mein poore mahine ke barabar hain rakhne ka hukum diya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ اللَّيَالِي الْبِيضَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ، وَقَالَ:" هُنَّ كَهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ" .
