The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2066
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would recite the verse "**سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى**" (Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High), he would also say: "**سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى**" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب «﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى﴾» کی تلاوت فرماتے تو یہ بھی کہتے: «سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى» ۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab «Subbihisma Rabbikal A'la» ki tilawat farmate to ye bhi kehte: «Subhana Rabbiyal A'la».
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" إِذَا قَرَأَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى سورة الأعلى آية 1 قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى".
