Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20868
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to deliver the sermon standing.
Grade: Sahih
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay ho kar khutba dete thay.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ ، قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو كَامِلٍ : أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا" .
