Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20906
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida (farewell pilgrimage), “This religion will always remain dominant over its opponents. No opposition or separation will be able to harm it, until twelve Caliphs pass away among my Ummah.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, “All of them will be from Quraysh.”

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والا نقصان نہ پہنچا سکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزر جائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samra RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi SAW ko Hajj-tul-wida ke mauqe par ye farmate hue suna hai ke ye deen hamesha apne muqalifeen par ghalib rahe ga ise koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pohancha sake ga yahan tak ke meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayenge phir Nabi SAW ne kuch kaha jo main samajh nahi saka maine apne walid se poocha ke Nabi SAW ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha ke Nabi SAW ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quresh se honge.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ، فَقَالَ: " لَنْ يَزَالَ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ، كُلُّهُمْ"، قَالَ: فَلَمْ أَفْهَمْ مَا بَعْدُ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي: مَا بَعْدَ" كُلُّهُمْ"؟ قَالَ:" كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ" .
