Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20998
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that there were a few white hairs in the front part of the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he would apply oil to his head, the whiteness of the hair would not be apparent. And when he would not apply oil, their whiteness would become apparent. And the hair of the head and beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was thick. Someone asked, "Was his face shiny like a sword?" He said, "No, rather it was bright like the moon and the sun, and it was round. And I saw the seal of Prophethood on his blessed back. It was the size of a pigeon's egg and resembled his body."

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے سر کے اگلے حصے میں چند بال سفید تھے جب آپ سر پر تیل لگاتے تو بالوں کی سفیدی واضح نہیں ہوتی تھی اور جب تیل نہ لگاتے تو ان کی سفیدی واضح ہوجاتی تھی اور نبی ﷺ کے سر اور داڑھی کے بال گھنے تھے کسی نے پوچھا کہ ان کا چہرہ تلوار کی طرح چمکدار تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں بلکہ چاند سورج کی طرح چمکدار تھا اور گولائی میں تھا اور میں نے نبی ﷺ کی پشت مبارک پر مہر نبوت دیکھی تھی وہ کبوتری کے انڈے جتنی تھی اور ان کے جسم کے مشابہہ تھی۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar ke agle hisse mein chand baal safaid the jab aap sar par tel lagaate to baalon ki safedi wazeh nahi hoti thi aur jab tel na lagaate to un ki safedi wazeh hojati thi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar aur darhi ke baal ghane the kisi ne poocha ki un ka chehra talwar ki tarah chamkdar tha? Unhon ne farmaya nahi balki chand suraj ki tarah chamkdar tha aur golaai mein tha aur maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki pusht mubarak par mohar nabuwat dekhi thi woh kabutari ke ande jitni thi aur un ke jism ke mushabeha thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ ، يَقُولُ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ شَمِطَ مُقَدَّمُ رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ، فَإِذَا ادَّهَنَ وَمَشَطَ لَمْ يَتَبَيَّنْ، وَإِذَا شَعِثَ رَأْسُهُ تَبَيَّنَ، وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الشَّعْرِ وَاللِّحْيَةِ"، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَجْهُهُ مِثْلُ السَّيْفِ؟ قَالَ: لَا، بَلْ" كَانَ مِثْلَ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ مُسْتَدِيرًا"، قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ" خَاتَمَهُ عِنْدَ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ، يُشْبِهُ جَسَدَهُ"..
