Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21061
Abu Umar said that we asked Khabab (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recite in Zuhr prayer?" He said, "Yes." We asked, "How did you know?" He said, "By the movement of the blessed beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

ابومعمر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے حضرت خباب رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کیا نبی ﷺ نماز ظہر میں قرأت کرتے تھے انہوں نے کہا ہاں۔ ہم نے پوچھا کہ آپ کو کیسے پتا چلا انہوں نے فرمایا نبی ﷺ کی ڈارھی مبارک ہلنے کی وجہ سے۔
AbuOmar kehty hain k hum ne Hazrat Khabbab RaziAllahuAnhu se poocha kya Nabi SallallahuAlaihiWasallam Namaz Zuhar mein qirat krty thy? Unhon ne kaha haan. Hum ne poocha k aap ko kese pata chala? Unhon ne farmaya Nabi SallallahuAlaihiWasallam ki daarhi mubarak hilny ki waja se.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لَهُ" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قِيلَ: بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ" ..
