ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2111
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would free all the slaves of the polytheists who would embrace Islam and come to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Accordingly, on the occasion of the Battle of Taif, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also set two men free.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ مشرکوں کے ان تمام غلاموں کو آزاد کر دیتے تھے جو مسلمان ہو کر نبی ﷺ کے پاس آ جاتے تھے، چنانچہ غزوہ طائف کے موقع پر بھی نبی ﷺ نے دو آدمیوں کو آزاد کر دیا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mushrikon ke un tamam gulamon ko azad kar dete the jo musalman hokar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aa jate the, chunanche ghazwa taif ke mauke par bhi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do admiyon ko azad kar diya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" يُعْتِقُ مَنْ جَاءَهُ مِنَ الْعَبِيدِ قَبْلَ مَوَالِيهِمْ إِذَا أَسْلَمُوا , وَقَدْ أَعْتَقَ يَوْمَ الطَّائِفِ رَجُلَيْنِ.
